yeah those two worked well off of each other and mistress and Malaysia did great too. the only thing that could have been better is them actually adding more lines during the long silent pauses because that was awkward and unnecessarily long.

Marcia should have waited a few years and she'd have a challenge win by now. Her aesthetic is underdeveloped and her runways read as basic . However she can sing , dance and is quite funny so she has the package , she just needs to fine tune

I looked up clips of Tim and Eric and I don’t get the connection. This seems like more of a traditional sitcom format and the laugh track edit is just kinda bizarre. It makes more sense the second time through, but this was definitely a choice.

Anetra amaze me.
Anetra gave life to a tiny, forgettable little part. She is an excellent comedic actress. That being said, why wasn’t Luxe Noir in the bottom?
Mistress, Malaysia, Marcia, Anetra, Salina and Miss Trejo did that. (Shoutout to the CGI Ant)
Mistress deserved her Win, but Anetra genuinely suprised me.
This was a fever dream, but I liked the awkward editing, we got some farting in the end after all. I saw a lot of this long pause comedy with weird edits out of nowhere in the past, so this felt very familiar. It has great meme potential.
This is one of the better acting challenges in recent years. 💐
Those awkward silences in between made this SO much worse than any acting challenge ever. (Sasha is mothering as always though)
It's a reference to Tim and Eric's style of comedy. It's supposed to be intentionally uncomfortable

Jax was way edited out of the final product. Even her scene that we saw while they were filming it was edited out.
i know. apparently loosey also had a lot more lines than the 2 they showed here. these 40 minute episodes are not it.
@@vintagee486 exactly. They had to edit down this skit, which caused some girls to have only 2-3 lines. By the time it was over I barely remembered luxx, Sasha, and loosey.
They have to sabotage her now so it makes sense when she goes home next week (3 strikes you're out!).

I loved the way this was edited, it felt so uncanny. While watching it, I kept thinking "there's something very wrong with this sitcom", getting some Wandavision vibes.
I didn't expect to see Danny Trejo for this challenge , that was a shocking surprise to me. Spice and the other Queens did good on their challenge

I'm sorry but this was brilliant. If you've never watched anything Tim & Eric related I get not loving it but this was one of the RARE times I've actually laughed during one of these challenges.
I didn't get it, and I didn't care for it. Honestly never heard of Tim and Eric beforehand. My problem was, I wish Ru had said that BEFORE, back when explaining the challenge to the queens, and didn't just say "sitcom".
Same! I agree that it should have been mentioned prior that it was referencing Tim and Eric’s cringe comedy. Rewatching it makes me laugh!

Choices and bad ones! Rupaul and producers you get a paycheck and get your writers to come up with something new and original! I've seen better productions from a kids theater play! Boo!

This was actually hilarious! ITS camp it's fun! And with some improvements with timing and writing of course but it's a step in the right direction for acting challenges in the future! :)

The pacing makes it awkward and painful to watch. And some of the jokes aren't even jokes, just references thrown in just because. Acting challenges are never great, but this one was very stale.

I was watching this segment and thinking, “this reminds me a lot of an Adult Swim show”, I was right 😅

Worst:
- Aura (what...is she doing?)
- Jax (no energy whatsoever)
- Luxx (why is she screaming???)
- Spice (Dollar store Debby Ryan)
Present:
- Loosey (Had potential but was a victim to shitty editing and plot)
- Sasha (didn't stand out, but worked with what she had)

@@artblank7342yep, i am 100% over spice but aside from the talent show this was ONE case where her ditzy style worked really well. Made zero sense THIS was the episode she was put at the bottom (altho aside Aura and Jaxx no one did bad).

I expected this reboot to hold up to the weirdness of last season, and they did not disappoint!
The part where Malaysia slams the door on Mistress is hilarious, in the sense that some of that frustration wasn’t acting, but based off of real life irritation

This was actually really good. The editing. The random quiet moments. It’s niche and those that get it get it. Those that don’t, please get taste.

The first Daytona Wind is still the best for me. There was a few good performances in this one like Mistress and Babydoll, but everyone else was either “safe” or boring in terms of the acting. Last season, almost every single queen did a great job in the challenge, which is unheard of when it comes to acting challenges on Drag Race.
Spice used her Miley Cyrus voice, and didn’t even get called out for it. She also didn’t spell out “A-N-T” the way Ru wanted her to.
Also, what was with the awkward pauses?
Spice wasn’t as bad as I thought she was gonna be after watching snatch game tbh. Wasn’t great but wasn’t as cringe as Jasmine in Daytona wind last season

No one did badly!! I agree with the bottom two but other than that, this was one of the better acting challenges in a really long time. These queens are everything.

Danny Trejo was crazy i didn't EXPECTED to see him popping. Also Kudos to Malaysia, Mistress, Anetra and Marcia for that great acting.
You can’t just “Tim and Eric” something in the editing room. I don’t think producers really understood the homage they’re trying to make here.
Even though Mistress and Malaysia had juicier roles, Anetra was the best actress by far. She did a LOT with very little.
Also Aura was not so completely horrible. Jax on the other hand…

I love the married with children reference (the ones who remember the episode where they did the barbecue and the ashes of a dead relative was accidentally used in the grill and they were cooking burgers on it, and by the time the family realized, the burgers were already eaten)
